I’m excited to announce that this year I will once again be working together with FFCAS to host Holiday Pet Pics, a holiday dog photography event to benefit the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter. The event will take place on Sunday November 4th from 10am to 2pm in the community room at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.  With your donation of $25, you will receive one JPEG file in the photographer’s choice of pose, sized for printing up to 5 x 7 inches. Files are scheduled to be sent by email approximately 2-3 weeks after the sitting. For two pets, we request a donation of $35 and for three pets, $45. There is a per sitting maximums of three dogs and combined weight maximum of 150 pounds.

Last year’s event was a great success with over 50 animals photographed! In an effort to reduce wait time for those who plan ahead, this year we will be offering the opportunity to reserve a spot during a 15 minute window of time. I have a created a brand new set for this year. Diego, a volunteer favorite who is currently available for adoption, was kind enough to help me test the new set pictured here…

Diego helped me with the new holiday photo set in hope that maybe Christmas would come early for him in the form of a new home!

100% of your donation will go to the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter to help fund important needs throughout the Shelter such as behavioral training and dental or medical care beyond what the shelter’s budget can provide. Photography services are volunteered by Artful Paws Photography
