It is such an honor when someone chooses me to capture a special memory of an ill or aging pet. Kathryn knew she would soon be saying goodbye to Samwise, her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He had been diagnosed with cancer and had already exceeded the time he was given by the vet. I am grateful that Sammy was having a good day on the day he came to the studio. We were able to capture some beautiful shots of him both alone as well as with his mom and dad. I am sad to report that Samwise had to be put to sleep a few weeks after the session. RIP sweet boy. You were truly loved!
