Artful Paws Photography is excited to once again be part of the Wags N’ Whiskers festival in Shirlington VA.  Beloved by two-legged shoppers and their four-legged friends, The Village at Shirlington’s Wags N’ Whiskers event returns for its 10th year. On National Dog Day, Saturday, August 26 from 10am to 4pm , The Village at Shirlington will transform into a street festival for animal lovers and their pets.

Featuring giveaways, treats and gift bags from more than 65 exhibitors ranging from pet services and accessories to onsite adoptions, Wags N’ Whiskers has become the region’s biggest and best pet festival. Vendors will showcase the latest trends in animal accessories and toys, and pet owners can seek practical advice from area veterinarians and dog trainers. In addition, last year’s event helped more than 100 pets find their fur-ever homes, with even more adoptions to come this year.

Children can enjoy face painting and balloon twisting while the whole family enjoys live music.  The Taylor Carson duo and Ryan Forrester Band will set the mood for a summer afternoon filled with furry festivities.

Dine with your feline al fresco at participating restaurants or let your pup lap up water from water stations while you lap up the specials at participating retailers throughout The Village at Shirlington. In addition, attendees can enter for a chance to win a $75 Pet Gift Basket at Dogma Bakery.
