Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a special July 4th photo session with some animals from the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.  Toby was quite the little model!  Here is what the staff at the shelter has to say about him…

Meet Toby! This lil guy is so cute! He’s a friendly, quiet dog, and we can’t remember if we’ve even heard him bark in the kennels. He’s very inquisitive and really likes to smell all the things. He’s also a dream to walk on leash! Toby really likes being close to his people and enjoys attention. Our staff describe him as “a complete gentleman.” What’s Toby’s deal, then? Well, Toby has seizures. He is on medication to manage and prevent them, but every few months he might still have one. He’ll need an adopter who can continue to provide him medical care to stay on top of the seizures, so Toby can live his best life! He seems to like other dogs just fine while on walks, but due to his medical condition we are recommending a home with no other dogs. But with a dog as cute as Toby you only need the one, right?!
